ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST - KENTWOOD, MI



ANDRONACO INDUSTRIES is a growing manufacturing company in search of an above average individual to fill the role of Accounting Specialist in our Corporate office located in Kentwood, Michigan.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Accounts Payable (AP) responsibilities including:



  • Invoice processing

  • Data entry

  • Journal entries, and

  • Other accounting related functions


Troubleshooting vendor issues


Handle AP inquiries and complete vendor applications


Assist with month-end journal entries and accruals as needed


Serve as back-up to our other AP team member(s)


Maintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files as directed


Prepare analysis of accounts as required


Perform filing and copying as needed


Administrative assistant/receptionist as needed


Other duties as assigned


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES



  • Three to five years of accounts payable/receivable experience required.

  • Experience with Epicor/Eclipse preferred.

  • Microsoft Office experience, highly competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills.

  • Client/customer focused.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated and results driven, gets the job done!

  • Ability to handle confidential information, trustworthy.


POSITION TYPE/HOURS:


This position reports to the Corporate Controller. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch.

We are a growing manufacturing company seeking an above-average individual to fill this role on our maintenance team. This position performs facility maintenance and machine maintenance. We are seeking a State Certified Journeyman Electrician or Master License with a proven track record working in an Industrial environment. The successful candidate will possess all of the following skills and experience:


· Strong knowledge of NEC


· Proficient working with voltages up to 480 volts


· Proficient with conduit installation


· Single phase and three phase voltage system knowledge


· Basic motor control wiring

RESPONSIBILITIES:


·         Able to read, understand, and interpret the blueprint/isometric drawings and specification to determine the scope of work, including but not limited to: locations, quantities, and materials needed.


·         Knowledge of measurement tools needed to perform the job.


·         Becoming knowledgeable of the product and selecting the right product/material to perfume the required duties.


·         Able to prepare, fit, layout, fabricate and assemble pipe and other components needed together as required by the blueprint/isometric drawings or customer.


·         Use the right tools to clamp, fit/position, and tack-weld parts in place according to blueprint/isometric drawing for welding.


·         Perform leak test (in accordance with the customer requirement) to ensure the quality of the spools or fittings.


·         Maintain safe and clean work area.


·         Other duties as assigned


 


 


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


·         Minimum of three (3) years as a fitter.


·         Able to read and interpret the blueprint/isometric drawings.
