We have immediate opportunities to join our team in the role of an Inside Sales & Customer Service representative. The primary responsibilities of an Inside Sales & Customer Service representative are interfacing with customers promoting the company as well as to process quotes, orders, and inquiries, while providing continuous support to the Outside Sales Team members and Upper Management.

Expectations and Duties (will include but not be limited to):

·         Process telephone, email, and web-based inquires by quoting:

o   Product

o   Price – always focused on driving higher margins where possible

o   Delivery

o   Payment terms

o   Upsell - Accompanying Product Offerings

o   Substitute Product (when necessary and appropriate)

o   Quote Follow-Up with Customers to assist in converting to Sales Orders

1.      All quotes for Andronaco Industries products.

2.      All quotes over $1000 NOT assigned to an outside salesman.  Use your best judgement to determine if quote should be passed on to an outside salesman for follow-up and forward to General Manager for distribution.

3.      Any quote with “specialty” products that are clearly NOT resale customers.  For example: an end user wants a price for a 6” PVDF tee, that should trigger the question, “what are they doing”?


·         Process Received Customer Purchase Orders by:

o   Processing Sales Order Acknowledgement

o   Updating Price and Delivery (when applicable)

o   Providing Customer with Information on Accompanying Product Offerings

o   Purchasing (when applicable) Items to Fill Order Requirements (always check inventory first)

o   Expediting with Suppliers to Insure On Time Delivery

o   Fill Backorders, Print Picking Tickets, and Compile Documentation for Billing

o   Execute Billing, Invoice Printing, and Invoice Submission to Customer – if applicable at the Branch

o   Communicate with Customer and Outside Sales Account Manager any changes in Order Status

·         Assisting and Supporting Outside Sales Team Members

o   Processing Priority Transactions

o   Project Support

o   Open Order Status Report Updates

o   Technical Research Support

o   Customer Communication Support

The QC Technician ensures that the products are made/manufactured per work order (WO), traveler, and/or drawings. Inspect products in the process (IP), complete hold points, do IP tests as required, hydro test, and final inspections. Communicate issues to the up management, and work closely with the engineer/draft team and department leaders to meet customers/procedures requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Oversee product quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.

· Make sure all the equipment is calibrated according to the stander/procedures.

· Communicate any issues with product and/or supplier on new or existing programs.

· Monitor work in process procedures.

· Make sure all production workers follow the WO, travels, and/or drawings.

· Perform dimensional physical and visual inspections.

· Receiving inspection and test of purchased items as needed.

· Work in Process inspection and test.

· Measure what operators cannot.

· Assist in the maintenance of the Calibration System.

· Work from and follow written inspection procedures.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

· A minimum of a high school diploma. Some college preferred.

· A minimum of two years of QC/QA experience and a desire to learn and grow.

· Possesses mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
